The Nitra Med Heavy are a glove we started bringing in early on in the pandemic when we were getting a lot of requests for thicker exam glove options, and they became so popular they're here to stay! The Nitra Med Heavy are tear and puncture resistant and are a hearty 4.7 mils thick. Second in thickness only to our Black Widow gloves. Because they are a thick exam glove with lots of stretch they're perfect for clinics, nursing homes, homecare, daycares, emergency responders, law enforcement, and more. The Nitra Med heavy also make a great all-around glove for every department in hospitals and medical facilities - they are approved for use with chemotherapy (but still double glove!) and are a great glove for cooking and cleaning. While they are designed for medical use the Nitra Med Heavy are also a great option for home repair, DIY, cooking, cleaning, gardening and more.
Nitrile gloves are a great pick for use with several chemicals- even corrosive ones! We have a chemical resistance chart with resistance info for many common chemicals that you can check if needed.

I'm sorry you were not satisfied with these gloves. Nitrile tends to be less stretchy than other materials like Latex. If tearing is a consistent problem, choosing a bigger size or a different material may help. If you like, I can send you some samples of other options to try out?
