Our Response ER powder free latex exam gloves are extra thick to provide extra protection. The latex material is puncture and tear resistant, and are stretchy, making them easy to pull on and off. Just like their name, The response ER were designed with the safety of Emergency Medical Technicians in mind. Since they are exam grade they offer additional protection vs bacteria and viruses. Their thick design (13 mils!), extended cuff (12") and textured surface also make them the glove of choice for plumbers. Working with harsh chemicals? You can refer to our chemical resistance chart to make sure latex will meet your needs.
If you're an emergency responder in Hawaii then these gloves are not for you; Hawaii has banned the use of latex gloves in emergency medical situations. Dental and medical workers in Hawaii can still use them for non-emergencies as long as you ask the patient about latex allergies first. The extended cuff can feel pretty tight for some and might not be comfortable for long periods of use. If you're worried about the fit working for you reach out to us! Our Ultra-Flex Powder Free Latex Exam gloves may be more suitable for your needs as they are more flexible at an average 5 mils of thickness.
