What are Accelerators?
Accelerators or types of chemicals used during the making of nitrile gloves can cause some reactions among users. These accelerators can include sulfur-based chemicals. Gloves that are accelerator free are manufactured without the inclusion of sulfur-based chemicals and are designed to reduce the risk of skin allergies. These gloves have a lower risk of irritating user’s skin and are even more durable and reliable than traditional nitrile gloves.

Since the grape grip are exam grade (even approved for use with chemotherapy!) and fentanyl resistant they are a great choice for any medical environment including hospitals, clinics, dentists, nursing homes, homecare, EMS, medical labs, rehabs, chiropractors and more.
The Grape Grip are accelerator-free, making them our best option for anybody with skin sensitivities and serious allergies. While all nitrile gloves are 100% latex free there are many people who still get irritated skin when using nitrile. When this happens accelerator-free gloves are your best bet. If you're somebody who struggles with skin irritation with other nitrile gloves, and are wondering if these will work for you contact our friendly customer service team, they'll be more happy to send you samples!
Nitrile hold up really well to most chemicals, including many corrosive chemicals. If you'll be using chemicals with our gloves we always recommend checking our chemical resistance chart to make sure you get the best material to keep you safe!

Slightly pricier, but worth it.
Needing to wear gloves frequently and for sometimes several hours a day these are great. My hands don't get rashes or get irritated and itchy (which has occurred occasionally with other nitrile gloves). Durability is also quite good.
